Dallas Jam

A handful of shots taken with the Holga are posted to the photo site. While in Dallas, I jammed with Jeremy, his flatmate Tim and Tim's bandmate Ed. Unfortunately, from the roll of 12 shots, only 7 came out. Not sure why the others were so underexposed, as the room seemed to have decent enough lighting before I brought out the flash...

Tim & Ed are members of The Killdares, a Celtic/pop/rock group in Dallas. For a while I borrowed one of Ed's basses, which he'd tuned DAEG. Made for interesting improvisation, I must admit. Mostly we played some of Jeremy's standards, and a few newer ones, and created a couple of new songs on the spot.

I'm sorry that my pictures of Ed playing the double-necked electric bouzouki/mandolin didn't come out. It's an odd enough instrument as is, and he played it with an eBow which made it more unique...
