The man who most influenced my bass playing back in my Ceili's Muse days gave a seminar at a music store in the Valley. I've known Michael for years, starting when I studied with him for a week in 1993 at the National Guitar Summer Workshop. For a number of years after that I ran his official website. Since then, I've run into him fairly regularly at the NAMM conventions. Unfortunately, I'd never gotten a good picture of him. It's not for lack of trying, but poorly lit convention halls and a lack of a stage were working against me.
This time I think things turned out a bit better. Pictures are posted to photo.phui.com.
